Connor debuted for the QLD First Grade at the age of 17 averaging 38 scoring 850 runs over the season. He went on to be the highest run scorer in the Queensland U19 Competition, with the highest innings of 184 off 114 deliveries.
Connor is currently playing Darwin Premier League competition and has been referred to as a left-handed Chris Lynn.
