Alana King

Alana is one of Victoria and Australia’s talented band of Leg Spin Bowlers. A prodigious spinner of the ball she is a strike weapon in any form of cricket.
 
In January 2021, Alana was selected to debut for Australia in her first T20 international at the Adelaide Oval. After a successful debut she then went on to debut for her maiden Test Cap for Australia in the recent Ashes series against England where she took 5 wickets on debut, and almost spun Australia to victory. She then went on to debut on the 50 over format for Australia and was a member of the 2022 World Cup winning team in New Zealand.

Alana then toured India in May to compete in the WIPL for the Supernovas which we hope will be the forerunner to the Women’s IPL.  Alana will compete in the 2022 Commonwealth Games for Australia and has been selected by the Trent Rockets for The Hundred in 2022.
