Jemma Barsby is one of the hottest talents in Australian Cricket. Her cricket career began playing underage cricket for Sandgate District Cricket Club and she also represented Queensland in underage carnivals. At the age of 15 Jemma debuted for Queensland Fire in the 2010/11 WNCL season. Jemma made her WBBL debut as part of the inaugural Brisbane Heat squad in the 2015/16 season. She then joined the Perth Scorchers squad for the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons. Barsby has also represented Australia in the Australia A Women’s side on a number of occasions.
Jemma currently represents the South Australian Scorpions in the WNCL and is a key member of the Adelaide Strikers in the WBBL. Off field Jemma is an ambassador for Novartis Australia. She collaborates with Novartis to inspire Australians who live with MS daily via the @managems.com.au campaign.
